Founded on Lasqueti by two coffee loving Gulf Islanders in 1997, who mastered the roasting formula in their kitchen before moving to Vancouver Island to share their blends with cafes, restaurants & boutique stores across the island.
Many years later, four friends liked drinking & serving Karma Coffee so much that they purchased the company when the opportunity arose. Today Karma Coffee is roasted in small batches in Coombs by this new generation of roasters using the original recipes entrusted to us to share with our fellow coffee enthusiasts locally & around the world.
Our promise to you is to deliver the freshest, most delicious, roasted organic & ethically sources beans in BC.
Since we want to share good Karma, we are committed to our loyal customer, the environment, reducing waste, supporting our farmers & continuing the coffee evolution.
ABOUT OUR BEANS
Our organic, ethically sourced beans are curated from around the globe to get the most unique flavors & each farm must meet at least one of the following criteria, Fair Trade, Bird Friendly (SMBC), Rainforest Alliance, UTZ.
Access to green coffee beans vary based on the season, but our main stay beans travel from all corners of the globe including Central & South America, Africa, Indonesia & the Far East. Each geographic location (right down to the individual plantations) has distinct characteristics & tastings notes that are enhanced by our roasting process to create our signature coffees.
Karma coffee has two 35kg Sirocco Roasters, a 15kg San Francisco & 1 kg sample roaster to try our our new blends.
